March Newsletter – a snag in the works

Yesterday, I got the good news from my agent that A Cowboy Christmas was accepted and is on schedule for its October release. After the shake up at the publisher with my editor getting fired and them moving their offices, I had to wonder how this would effect me. Change

I like little changes because they give me a fresh outlook. Usually. I’m not such a big fan of big changes because often they signal starting over from scratch.

The past two years I’ve had some big changes in my life. One was a pull the rug out from under you change. I was ready to coast for a while. Surprise!

Editors come and go all the time. It’s the nature of publishing. I can deal with that.

Pirate Tycoon

I had a fab surprise waiting for me when I got home from work today. A box with half dozen hardback copies of Pirate Tycoon, Forbidden Baby.

Sure, I knew I’d get a few copies of this first edition. Yes, I’ve been anxiously awaiting a glimpse of the cover.

You see, my heroine is preggers, and I couldn’t imagine how they’d do the artwork and still make it sexy. Well, wow, they did.
